Courtney Thomas, AIA
A graduate of Tulane University with a Master’s Degree, Courtney a licensed architect has 17 years of experience in Architecture and Interior Design. Courtney capitalizes on her distinct ability to problem solve. Her strengths lie in her ability to listen and interpret client dreams to create innovative, detailed, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Having been a senior project manager for 8 years, she has an extensive background in all aspects of a project and how to execute and successfully deliver projects. Types of projects to date include corporate and landlord interiors, project site development and commercial ground up design, residential ground up and remodels, and furniture and finish selections and purchasing.
Marisa Engelhardt
Graduating from Tulane, Marisa followed her dream and moved to Colorado. She began her career at an architecture firm specializing in hospitality and residential design. After 6 years she returned to her hometown, Houston, where she has held a variety of positions in the design industry working at a firm that did multifamily development. After working at design firms for 10 years, she crossed over to the A&D side where she had various jobs specifying and selecting product for furniture companies as well as PEMB metal buildings. This path has equipped her with the skill sets and knowledge to tackle the most challenging projects.
About Studio Cue Partnership
Courtney and Marisa were introduced by a mutual friend as they both were starting their college careers at Tulane University in the Architecture program. They were inseparable in college. After College their careers took them on two separate paths where they accrued different types of professional knowledge. They kept in touch and grew their friendship over 25 years and in 2020 they decided to branch off on their own and work together as business partners forming Studio Cue.
